I want to install a new tankless water heater and it says i have to make sure that I have a 220 volt outlet for it to plug into. I have no idea what I have, is there a way to tell if i have a 220? thanks

A 220v outlet has a face that looks “seriously” like a chinese face.
I am not being mean. Most homes in the US have 220v available. It is only two hot legs of the power outside. Water heaters, dryers, a/c units, electric stoves all use 220v.
But getting an electrician is the BEST solution. Just be careful and use caution if you do this on your own.
