Tankless Water Heater

everything you need to know about tankless water heaters

Can I get a tankless water heater in the UK that just “plugs in”?

I’m living in a rented flat (apartment), and I’m not allowed to make permanent changes to the flat, but I think that a tankless water heater may save energy and cost less to run. Are there plug-in tankless water heaters available? We’d only need a single small unit, our shower has a heater built in and it’s just the kitchen sink that needs hot water really…

You would have to tie into your existing hot water piping at the old water heater. The plug could be easily added to the tankless wiring however it’s 240 volts, not 120 like most outlets, so another electrical outlet (240 volts) would have to be added. Unless you own the building thats alot of money to invest and then you would have to pay to have everything changed back when you move out. Good luck!
