Can I hook up a hot water heater along w/a tankless water heater? Or any other suggestion?

I recently purchased a new construction home that came w/a tankless water heater. I never knew there was a such thing. I happen to love the tankless water heater cause I never run out of hot water, however I dont like that it sometimes take over a minute to get the hot water to come out of the faucet. Also if the water pressure isn’t high enough, the water runs cold. Also when you turn off the faucet and turn back on 5 minutes later, I have to wait again for the water to turn hot.
Saying all that, can I hook up a small hot water heater to the tankless heater to prevent this from happening? Or anything else I can hook up to the tankless heater for warm water to stay in place longer?

I have one of these. Your tank might be to far from your faucet.

Try insulating all exposed hot water pipes.
It sounds like the tankless heater is quite distant from your application.
The money you supposedly save with a tankless heater is being wasted when it is installed too far away.
Personally, I do not understand how a tankless system is more efficient than a tank of maintained hot water.
In a gas system, I would assume too much heat would escape up the chimney, because the flame has to be fast and furious.

The tankless water heaters have filter screens at the cold water inlet and they need to be cleaned occasionally. Another option is to install a tank type water heater after the tankless unit , this will act as a holding tank for the already heated water and that water will be hot as soon as it gets to the tap. The tank heater will not kick on as much as the water coming in is already heated

I got an above ground pool from craigslist. There was a small(5 gal) Rheem electric water heater that the guy said he had hooked up to the pump to heat the pool. There are no fittings and I wondered if anyone could tell me how to do this.
