It is a much more complicated piece of machinery than a standard tank-type water heater. And I'm not so sure that there are enough qualified repairmen and parts available locally. Tankless units cost more to purchase and cost considerably more to install. Additionally, a buyer must choose the unit best suited to meet the necessary requirements........ It's a tough call.......
