    Tankless water heater performance depends on two things:
    The altitude where you are and the incoming water temperature. They work very well up to about 5000′ MSL. After that, they lose efficiency as you go up (gas tankless). If the water temp. is too cold, they don’t work very well either. I live at 7000′ MSL and have well water coming in at 53 degrees F. I was not happy with mine as we only could use at one fixture at a time and often had warm water, not hot. Also, check out this site:
