Yes, the only reason that the large tank, for your hot water heater is sumwhat cheaper to refill, is that you are buying it in bulk from a gas supplier.

Yes it is, The only difference in propane that you may notice is the type used for business fork lifts. It does not burn as hot as the regular type.

It is all the same fuel…
Only difference is in the charges they ding you to get it to your appliance!!!
Fuel delivered to your home is usually charged by the litre or gallon….Sometimes this has a delivery charge or hazardous material fee or some other stupid charge added, so beware!
But a portable 20lb cylinder for a grill is usually charged by a flat rate fill regardless of how much is left in the container. They have to tell you how much is left in the cylinder, but they can still charge you a flat rate…
Both methods have their own downfalls, so buyer beware!!!
I hope this helps!
p.s. Sensible man…The difference is that those cylinders are liquid withdrawal. It is a dangerous practice to try and connect these to grills or any other vapour burning appliance. You are lucky you didn’t hurt yourself or damage your home. Those cyliinders have a completely different connection so you must have “McGyver’d” something to connect it. The connections are different for a reason!!!

yes its the same exact gas. if you buy a larger tank you will get the lp for a little cheaper, as you are buying in bulk.
