Did you let the shower run for a while? Sometimes it takes a while for the hot water to reach the shower. If this does not work, you may have some type of obstruction in your hot water line going to the shower.

If you have a low flow shower head, that is the problem.
You can’t use them with a tankless heater as it fools the heater and shuts it down
and on and off goes the heater and no real hot water.

I agree with what “Fixit” says. Try running it for a little while. If you tankless hot water heater is a long distance away, it might take a while for the water to travel to you shower nozzle.
