If My House Needs Another Natural Gas Vent, Should I Get A Plumber Or Hvac Person To Install It?

And how much is it likely to cost? And/or how many hours is it likely to take them to do it? The type of vent that would be used for a tankless water heater, or any appliance with a fan-powered vent.
It’s a typical A-frame house. One story, slab foundation, moderately steep roof, unused attic (just insulation and access)

Either one should be able to do the task. If the nat. gas hookup is already in place, wherever your water heater is, the technician will drill through an exterior wall and install the vent there. He should be able to install some sort of beauty ring or something on the outside to hide the vent pipe. Be prepared to spend probably about $400 for the job, most of which will be for labor. It should only take an hour or two to complete the job.
