Question by L Mae: Can I leave my electric wall heater on during the day when I am not at home?
We have no other source of heat besides 2 electric wall heaters and one gas space heater. Is it safe to leave the wall heaters on when I am at work during the day?
These wall heaters are incredibly old, but my dog stays home alone during the day and she has to stay warm somehow.

Well, its really never desirable to leave high wattage devices unattended for very long, if yours is equipped with a thermal overload device or thermostatic control, you may want to leave it at lowest setting while you’re away to keep the home just comfortable when you return.

If your wall heaters are thermostatically controlled, and PAT tested then yes.
I Believe that your dog has the in built ability to stay a little bit warmer than you, and probably feels the cold less than you do.
I have a short haired dog, and temps dropping to 10 deg.c does not even bat an eyelid. I shiver he sleeps.
