My dad says that you are supposed to do it little by little. I do not believe this ,and actually its running the water bill even higher because we have to wait a long time before its safe enough to get the water hot.

    Basically he believes that a drastic attempt to go from cold to warm is causing an over load on the homes breaker and making it shut down.

    If he is correct tank less water heaters are pretty much garbage and a some what step back a couple of years in water heating technology.

    What do the pros in here have to say?
