Is is possible and practical to connect this heater to an ordinary propane canister (the type you exchange for refill at hardware stores)?

I don’t suspect I’ll have any trouble getting the appropriate fittings to connect a canister, but I don’t know if a canister would provide sufficient pressure/flow rate, and if I should expect it to last a month, a week, a day, or an hour.

I’ve found the owner’s manual for the heater, but it doesn’t discuss anything about gas consumption requirements – it only mentions that it takes LP type gas, and has a 3/4″ internal diameter gas inlet.

Barring that, could anyone offer assistance of estimating what size of above-ground permanent gas tank it would require?
