Why isn’t there an electric water heater timer that can be controlled by phone, Internet, or radio frequency?
It seems this would take care of the issues with a water heater timer. You could set it to turn on when you’re on your way home or shut it off when you won’t be around. Being able to control it away from home is key for people who have an irregular schedule.
