Tankless Water Heater??
Posted on | November 27, 2009 | 3 Comments
I have an oil tank. I DO NOT have one of those tall water heaters that sit in the basement that stores water. The oil comes in and goes through my oil furnace that heats the water to heat the house. If i buy an Electric Tankless Water Heater can i get rid of the oil furnace boiler. I would see no need for it since i would assume the tankless water heater things heats the water for you in that little box.

Yes, you can. The tankless water heaters are excellent for the environment as well as your pocket book. They heat water as it’s used instead of letting it sit in a tank to heat and reheat and reheat.

I have never seen an Electric Tankless Water Heater other than small under sink versions.
I live in an All Electric Community.

Talk with people in your area that have them in there home to determine if they are satisfied with them before making the change. I am not sure about a whole house application. You will save water but I don’t know about the power it takes.
